Black DS Lite coming to Australia

That's right, for all those of the counterculture, you'll soon have the option of a DS Lite in a colour rather than iPod-esque Polar White.
dStore.com.au have the release date slated as September 21st, and other sources note that this is a pretty sure thing. All major retailers are going to carry the new colour, including EB Games, for a retail price of $199.95. Expect that price to waver by around 10% though, dependant on specials and price gouging at various resellers
While the innards of the DS are a matt black, the outside is the same high-shine plastic seen on the Polar White. Now, on the white console fingerprints aren't much of a problem, as they aren't reflected well by the light-coloured plastic. On the black, however, fingerprints may be quite easy to see, even if they are easy to clean off. I can imagine store demonstration models becoming rather unsanitary from the aggregate fingerprints of every passerby that takes a fancy to the shiny (well, to start off with) new black plaything.
Not that I wouldn't buy one.
It's good to see that Nintendo are continuing to cater to the smaller markets, instead of solely Europe and Japan.
